SCSC under the direction of president and CEO, Vernon C. Stansbury built the 22 year old company into a dynamic group of highly committed, highly motivated and talented staff, by emphasizing quality and customer service. We are versatile evidenced by the services performed over the years, including during our early years, building and highway engineering and construction, followed by manufacturing, later evolving into institutional services, base operations, and quality services. This unique background has prepared our Company to be able to successfully perform across a broad spectrum of product and services functions at a high level of sophistication. For example, we have developed our own in-house designed net-based Quality Reporting System and are a holder of two U.S. Patents, and have as a small business operated in 26 states across the country.
Specific services such as Computer hardware maintenance and software management support; quality management services; editorial support, graphics and desktop publishing; documentation management; imaging; archiving, library operations and management; mail operations and management; logistics including transportation, vehicle maintenance, property management, supply/inventory management, quality management services, computer graphics, janitorial/recycling services and other service industry functions.
Our clients range across the federal and private sector, and include National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA), Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency, Dept of Education, US Geological Survey, US Army Security Assistance Command, Department of Transportation, US Postal Service, Federal Highway Administration, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Army Material Command, and the US Marine Corps.
We are an award winning company having been recognized by NASA with their highest award for quality, equivalent to the Malcolm Baldrige Award, the George M. Low Award for quality performance. Our company was the first small business to win this award, presented previously to large businesses such as Boeing, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, CSC, and similar large businesses. SCSC was also selected as NASA’s Minority Contractor of the Year, during the following year.
